Here are the latest pictures we have from the recent house project I have. We can almost see the frame work of the whole building and in no less than a month we can see a 75% result of the house. Can't wait to see the house standing that was started from paper and was built now on soil ground.

A Prayer

Waiting in Hope
Lamentations 3:25, Romans 8:25, Hebrews 6:11, 19, 10:23

In Jesus' Name, I pray God's will for you today. I pray that you will always trust in the Lord. May you realize how good God is to those whose faith is in Him. May your soul be anchored on a hope that is firm and secure. I pray that you will show diligence to the very end, in order to make you hope sure. May you patiently wait with hope for what you do not yet have. May you hold unswervingly to the hope you profess, for He who promised is faithful.

In Jesus' name, Amen.

First Project

Week 1

Week 3

I may not jump off to my field for the last 2 years right after i graduated architecture, it would still not an excuse to dump my real craft. After a 40 square meter house plan of my cousin, my problem now is to build her house once again to stand on a 589 square meter lot but only occupying at least 150 square meter of total floor space.

The criteria she give: bigger rooms than what she have right now on her existing 40 square meter house, one bedroom on the first floor, separate toilet and bath, bigger master bedroom and a small kitchen on the 2nd floor plus the other usual spaces incorporated in a house. She was once owed of putting a roof top but eventually decline to have one due to structural purpose (if in case the deck was damage).

So here's a quick peek of what the front would look like and the latest scenes from the construction site.

she's all that!

there was once a girl way back in my childhood whom voice mesmerized me. every time i've been to the placed where i know she lived i always wished i could see her for the reason i don't know.

i used to have crushes way back in grade school. going to highschool is no difference but indeed double the fact the admiration i used to give to opposite sex. puberty probably answers that question of curiousty for teenagers like me then. i fell infatuated and fortunately given back the same infatuation of a crush i have during my first year of highschool. though there was no formality there has been a mutual understanding to the both of us.

but that's for a short span o' time, and im earlier seeing the reality she will not be ment for me. thank God! (do i need to say that?)

2nd year in my high school open my friendship to some of my greatest friends up to now. same time as it opens the mystery im resolving way back then. the girl who i want to see and always part of my dream every now and then.

she's a petite girl, her long hair, fair white skin do not differ her from the rest of my girls classmate. she may not be the prettiest but she indeed hold that word in her own rights. she may not be the most beautiful but her voice when you hear her sing breaks the glass and reveal the real beauty she has. i was fond of her because the second time i meet her personally she made me laugh for what ever reason it's gonna be mine to keep.

we do know each other before we've been classmate, and we have seen each other before... then i recall and everything flashes back to my memory as clear as i can remember. the girl who's with me all through out my mind, who's voice had mesmerized me up to now, is the same girl i've befriended with, thus more than that cause we became best friends, idolizing each other with the talents and characters we both endowed.

the friendship grows into something both of us had felt towards each other, never that we know that because of a bottle game the feelings will be revealed, uncovering the affection we both have. it started then that we became aloof with each other for the reason that we can't explain. was it because we're shy to express both our feelings, or it's because the feelings growing to something more. more of thing called LOVE.

Our Baguio adventure

i had by far the most happiest weekend of my life last april 19-21, 2008, celebrating my 27th bithday last april 20 and our first wedding anniversary the following day, april 21. the Baguio vacation was not my idea at all, but i like it though since i've never been to the place. it was my wife suggestion since the last time she was there never enjoy the stay at all.

we left from Manila at around 8:46 am, took 2 stop over from Tarlac and La Union till we reached the city of pines at exactly 4pm. after picking the hotel where we going to stay for the next 2 days, we only rest for nearly an hour after we settle our things in our room and jump out of the hotel for a stroll at the park and dinner at the same time since it already late in the afternoon.

our hotel is located just nearby burnham park and the market, so it's very accessibe to any where we want to go. we did some pedal boating at the lake at burnham, stroll a bit and enjoy the scenery i only see before from pictures but now im the one taking the pictures of them. we took our dinner at McDonald session road sine it's just a walking distance from the hotel. then get back to our room for rest.

the next day, it's definitely my birthday! after the breakfast and taking a bath we decided to go first at the Baguio Cathedral also known as Our Lady of Atonement Cathedral, it's just a few blocks away from the hotel so we walk going there. after some prayers of thanks and praise, we moved to Lourdes Grotto since it's way is a bit different to the rest of our itenerary.

after the grotto we moved to botanical garden where we bought some of our pasalubong and at the same time took lunch righ there. we walk next to wright park which is close enought to botanical garden to walk through. we climb the step going up to the mansion and did some picture taking before going to the mines view which we have a hard time waiting for a jeepney so we decided to ride a taxi.

at mines view, it took us a lot of hour buying stuff than being on the actuall spot. i appreciate the view though and the horse ride in a minute. it's a pocket draining time over at mines view that's all i can say. no more no less. we went back to the hotel to take a rest before going out again and took dinner.

we decided to take our dinner at SM Baguio, want to experienced dining at the top and experienced a mall that almost as cold as an air conditioned mall of Manila less the machine. indeed its a nice place to shop, dine and relax mostly at night where there are live bands. i like the Al Fresco dining where me and my wife just sit and appreaciate the sites we see.

before going back to the hotel we decided to have a night walk at burnham, unfortunately it was not as well lighted park compare to the park we have in manila. we also took time to check some ukay ukay being sold at the street across burnham, i like one jacket though, but decide not to buy it since i have one already which i brought at mines view.

it was a tiring day for us so we then decided to go back to the hotel and call it a day. the next day, our anniversary day, we already planned our destination for our last day in Baguio. Destination strawberry fields. we woke up at around 6am, took a shower, prepare things and took our breakfast. i never expect that the location of the farm is not Baguio anymore i was suprised cause im seeing La Trinidad, Benguet welcome arc. to my surprise it's now by far the farthest place i've been to North Luzon. the strawberry experienced was awesome, though we never had a time picking strawberries cause what was left are not good ones anymore so we just bought what's good left. but at least we can pick the nice one to buy. we bought almost 6 kilos of strawberry for pasalubong and return back to the hotel to pack our things, we just go back to the market to buy stuff we left then pack our things.

we left the hotel at around 11:30 am and our bus heading to Manila left at around 12:20 pm. a day of tiring but unforgettable experienced. after settling to our seats i found my self asleep discovering the tiredness i have from all of those trips hunt my body now. i'll miss the place, but we will surely be back, this time with our kid!
